URGENT MESSAGE FOR PATIENTS WITH BOOKED BLOOD APTS W/C 12th - 23rd Oct

Dear patient, due to a National major supply chain failure, GP Practices in the area, have very late this afternoon, been instructed to cancel all routine blood apts for the next two weeks with immediate effect. We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience this will cause, but we are asking all patients with blood apts booked for w/c 12th-23rd Oct to ring the surgery next week to rebook. We are currently trying to contact our patients to communicate this. Please understand this is entirely out of our hands and whilst our patient support team will do what they can to assist you when you ring in, they will be dealing with a large number of enquiries in relation to this matter. We thank you for your patience.

***FACE COVERINGS TO BE WORN WHEN ENTERING THE SURGERY*** To further protect our staff and patients the surgery would request that anyone entering the building has a face covering in place. This can be a mask or a simple covering such as a scarf. Thank you for your co-operation.

HIGH CALL DEMAND

Please be advised that we are experiencing a large number of calls from patients who have been unable to secure a local COVID test via 119. We are aware that there is an issue with testing in this area but unfortunately this is not anything we can assist with as testing is not something Practices in the area are involved in. This issue is also impacting our own staff and their families. Please can we ask patients to refrain from contacting the Practice in relation to this matter and to continue trying 119. We understand that testing capacity is released at certain times throughout the day. Thank you.
